This is a custom made-to-order large Regency style dining table made in the Leighton Hall shop. This is one of Leighton Hall’s flagship tables. It is known as the King Demure dining table. It has a transitional design inspired by the original 18th century Regency styled tables. It features a field of west African swirly crotch mahogany and contrasting borders of satinwood, Pau ferro and straight grain mahogany separated by ebony and white maple inlay lines. The table edge is solid mahogany with a shaped variation of an ogee edge. The table’s apron is bold and masculine with dental molding along its top outside edge. This finish is a medium brown mahogany color with a hand rubbed and polished semigloss sheen. The double column pedestal bases make this table extremely sturdy and compliment its a Regency styling. Leighton Hall is the exclusive manufacturer of this copyrighted King Demure dining table design. This is the standard size version of this table. It is the D-13-3L-PS.
