Chairish

$6,276

Exceptional Model 62 dining table designed by Henning Kjærnulf and produced by Soro Stolefabrik in Denmark, circa 1960. A refined example of Danish craftsmanship, the piece beautifully showcases Kjærnulf’s characteristic balance of functional clarity and sculptural form. he table is executed in solid teak and teak veneer, featuring a warm, rich grain and soft organic edges. Its elliptical top rests on elegantly tapered legs, complemented by a distinctive tripod support in the center that provides both visual interest and stability when fully extended. This impressive piece includes four extension leaves, allowing it to expand up to 325 cm in length, comfortably seating up to 14 people. The extension mechanism slides smoothly and locks firmly in place, a testament to Danish precision engineering of the era. The table has been professionally refinished in a high-quality UV and water-resistant lacquer, preserving its natural tone while ensuring long-lasting protection. In excellent condition, this model exemplifies mid-century Danish design; functional, timeless, and elegantly constructed, making it a perfect centerpiece for any modern interior or collector’s dining setting. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
