Unusual early 1900s Gustavian extendable dining table with top grade quilted mahogany veneers, Lovely pyramid fluted legs with a rosette detailing and brass feet. It is approximate 110 cm in diameter un-extended and goes to 230 cm extended with two leaves. As with all natural wood dining tables of the type the veneer on the leaves is straight grain rather than quilted and the color has sun faded slightly with age. The table will be repolished to remove any marks and so the leaves more closely match the color of the main table. Very sturdy piece ideal for everyday use and a lovely piece of design.
