This is a fabulous high quality antique flame mahogany regency period metamorphic triple pillar dining table that can seat 10 people in comfort and dating from circa 1820. It is raised on three bases, each with four sabre legs that terminate in brass cap castors. The table can easily be converted from a ten seater dining table into a pair of console tables and a drop flap pembroke table by removing the clips. The pembroke table is fitted with a useful drawer. There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining table which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times. The botanical name for the mahogany this item is made of is swietenia macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to cites regulation.
