Founded by Antonin Hautefort and Ignatio Tenggara, Pendhapa seeks a holistic approach to the practice of architecture and aims to dissolve the boundaries between site, product, and architecture.Antonin and Ignatio founded Pendhapa Atelier together in 2019. While Antonin grew up in France, Ignatio comes from Indonesia. Their radically different cultural backgrounds and fascination with local craftsmanship motivated them to build an enterprise together.Both architects, by training, met at the Architectural Association in London while completing their master of Architecture. Prior to starting Pendhapa Atelier, Antonin and Ignatio worked for international architectural design practices on projects in the USA, the UK, France, South Africa, and Singapore.
