Antique solid walnut refectory table belonging to the early 18th century of Neapolitan origin. Made entirely of finely worked solid walnut wood, it presents a simple and sturdy rectangular top and rests on two richly shaped trestle legs with wavy profiles and curved motifs typical of the style to which it belongs. The two legs are connected by a reinforcing mixed-line crossbar added to ensure structural stability. Condition: In need of restoration. Provenance: early 18th-century Naples.
