This custom dining table is made in solid Eastern Black Walnut. It is made from carefully selected boards, free from knots, with matching grain. This table is fully collapsible and can be assembled, without the need for tools, in 2 minutes! The ends of the stretcher lock into place with ease, connecting the legs and completing the base. The top is then lifted onto the base, centered by two 1" pegs on top of each leg. If you require customized overhang dimensions please stipulate with order.Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood specie and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind. Just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand-cut wooden dowels.
