This dining table in oak and bronze by Holly Hunt, created in 2019 in the United States, is part of the documented ‘Ring’ series and presents a contemporary interpretation of sculptural dining furniture. The rectangular top is crafted from oak with a satin finish, displaying a deep, neutral brown tone that emphasises the natural grain while maintaining a restrained, even surface sheen. The top is framed by a subtle bronze edge detail, introducing a contrasting material note that continues through the base. It rests on two substantial pedestal supports in white lacquered wood, each defined by a circular cut-out that gives the ‘Ring’ series its distinctive identity. These forms are set on bronze bases, reinforcing the architectural composition and lending visual weight and stability. The overall construction reflects a high level of craftsmanship, with careful attention to proportion and material balance. This example was custom ordered, resulting in dimensions that differ from standard production models, offering a more tailored footprint suitable for a variety of interior settings. Condition is reported as good ex-display. There is minor wear to the corners, along with visible scratches to the metal screw heads beneath the tabletop where it attaches to the base. The table has been displayed only and not used.
