Knots, beautiful grain, and an incredible range of textures give the 2 ¼” thick tabletop its abundant character. The planks are finished with perpendicular "breadboard" ends and dotted with square wooden pegs holding the pieces together. Two substantial lyre legs, splayed to support the massive top, are braced by a low and long stretcher, ensuring its stability, but also contributing another noticeable design feature.
