Italian Neoclassical Inlaid Marquetry Dining Table By Staccioli, Mid-20th Century

Chairish

$4,160

A stunning Italian marquetry dining table by Mobili Staccioli of Cascina (Pisa), circa 1950s–1960s. Expertly crafted from mahogany with exotic fruitwood inlays, the oval top features a central diamond-shaped floral medallion surrounded by elaborate neoclassical motifs. The apron and tapered legs are richly inlaid with scrolling acanthus leaves, urns, and trailing vines—hallmarks of fine neoclassical revival design. The craftsmanship is exceptional, with intricate banding, cross-grain mahogany veneer, and a freshly refinished top that brings out the depth and luster of the wood grain. At just over 6.5 feet in length, this one-piece table comfortably seats six to eight guests, making it ideal for both dining rooms and grand entry spaces. Marked with the original label from Mobili Staccioli, a well-known mid-century Italian workshop specializing in high-end classical furniture.
