16th century and later elizabethan solid oak refectory table circa 1590. We are pleased to offer this beautiful table, with elizabethan period base and later 3 plank oak top. Carved frieze which goes round the front and sides and plain oak the the rear. Raised on 6 bulbous legs which are united by a floor level stretcher. Size makes this ideal for dining or a statement center table. Oak top with natural with minor natural age splits and surface marks underneath a deep rich colour and polished finish. Obvious minor losses to woodwork and surface marks to base, but strong and sturdy and ready for everyday use. 1 and half inch thick top. Knee height: 25 1/2"
