Ma-Mi was born from the desire to combine technology, furniture and art.‎ The main feature of the Ma-MI marble round table is the contrast given by empty and full spaces, transparency and form, lightness and solidity, harmony and experimentation thanks to glass and stone.‎ The table base, composed of four legs arranged in a cross, is another distinguishing element of MA-MI.‎ Created in collaboration with architect and designer Marcello Albini, the design of MA-MI is meant to be customized with made-to-measure solutions, thanks to the "filling" of the holes with marbles of different colors that thus modify the design of the bases according to the customer's pleasure.‎ Variations in color or slight imperfections are the result of the craftsmanship of this article and are not to be considered defects.‎
