1920’s oak large original french drapers table. One of the best most characterful pieces we have seen. The table is made in solid oak throughout and is completely original. The top is of framed oak construction with two panels full of aged character, supported on spindle bobbin legs with a lower shelf where the bolts of fabric would be stored. Beautifully made with doweled joints this table has survived over a hundred years of daily toil. The table retains two original drawers with original ironmongery and a lock key. Our workshop has serviced the table throughout, the drawers run well, the table is stable and ready to go. internal drawer dimensions: l47 x w57 x h8 cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
