Occasional Object, Limited Edition

Introducing “Occasional Object,” an ingenious cutlery set by the renowned designer Virgil Abloh, in partnership with the prestigious Italian design brand Alessi. This distinctive collection, consisting of a knife, fork, spoon, and a carabiner, disrupts the conventional notion of tableware. Each utensil, finely crafted in Italy and bearing unique cut-out designs, combines via the carabiner to transform mundane dining tools into a striking personal accessory. Drawing on aesthetics of camping gear and toolboxes, Abloh intentionally plays with utility and design. This visual conversation is further emphasized by the squared-off spoon and divided fork spokes. As a part of Alessi’s landmark 100-001 exhibition, “Occasional Object” is a bold stride into the future, representing Abloh’s unique perspective and innovative approach to design.
