The table seats eight and has enough extra room to add two more for larger gatherings.Apart from the standard colors, they can be made in a range of customized colors and stone tops. Inspired by our travels to Barcelona, the intense, bold use of color by Gaudi in his architectural mosaics alongside the rich, earthy glazes of Catalan ceramics, we aim to create the same feeling of warmth and wonder through the pieces in the Pilar Collection. From afar, the layered hues mimic a mosaic, with each tile of color representing a piece of the complete picture. Recontextualizing the process of dipping and layering glazes on ceramics alongside the tactility of its fluted wooden surface, the Pilar Collection invites you to come closer, discovering moments of color and intensity particular to each flute as they create a constant dialogue of light and shadow.
