Alivar dining table model 459 designed by Takehiko Mizutani in 1920s. Takehiko Mizutani (1907-1969) was one of the few Japanese Bauhaus students in 1927 under Joseph Alberts. The table was never put into production at the time and was first put into production by Alivar in the 1980s. Alivar sets high standards for the smallest details and is known for its quality, durability and luxury. The base is made of chromed metal and black cast aluminum. The top is made of transparent glass. The condition of this dining table is still very good. Dimensions: h x d = 72 x 120 cm. Thickness of glass 12 mm. The price is only for the table (not the chairs). Source: book Alivar (1992), pages 149, 151 and 152 (see photos). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
