Fantastic vintage Maitland-Smith iron and bronze dining table with a beautiful 54" beveled glass top....the table base features four cylindrical iron legs, with a series of whimsical bronze monkeys interspersed between a pair of iron rings near the top of the base...the bronze monkeys show a lovely patina, and are posed in a variety of fun ways...as is always the case with Maitland-Smith, this piece was entirely hand-made and hand-finished, with a level of care and detail that's nearly unrivaled....the quality is outstanding---the base is heavyweight, and solid---as evidenced by the way is easily supports the 3/4" thick glass top....it's a fun, beautiful piece that will draw a lot of comments and compliments from friends and visitors---the table is in excellent condition---both the base, and the large glass piece...
