Round pedestal table made of white fiberglass by Thonet. Marked under the top as shown, dated 1975, some have called this line Saturna but not marked as such. Similar to and/or designed by Stewart MacDougall. Heavy, well made. Looks quite nice as found. This has expected signs of age, use and wear. Typical patina and flaws but no glaring damage. No repairs, no cracks, no large stains. Edge roughness and chipping, some small surface chips in the top, some scratches, surface rubs and even wear on the top. The pedestal base has expected scuffs, footwear, scratching and wear to the fiberglass around the bottom. Also shows moderate wear and edge chipping along the bottom edge-see close ups. Bottom has four good adjustable feet; bottom steel plate shows corrosion. Solid, no wobble or play. Top is ever so slightly not flat, minor separation of the fiberglass top and the fiberboard underneath. Functional, displays quite well as found. Please see photos and send any questions you might have. Diameter is 36", 28 1/2" tall.
