Mewoma is a family of tables with a sculptural presence. The table combines a lazer cut metal base topped by a large wooden part supporting a marble of wooden top. The tabletop comes in a large variety of shapes (round, cushion, or square) and materials (3 marbles, 2 woods) with one or 2 legs for long versions up to 3 meters. Jonah takagi was born in tokyo and grew up in the us. Jonah crafted his own furniture while following an indie rock career before creating his studio atelier takagi in 2010. He is now one of the leaders of the renewed american design scene. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
