A late Baroque-style mahogany display cabinet. The curved front and sides feature glass panes at the top and painted panels at the bottom. The sides feature rural subjects, while the front features a lady and her knight. Curved legs, wrought and gilded bronze appliques and moldings. Italy, early 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
