$3,950

Belle Époque Bronze & Curved Glass Vitrine / Angled Showcase, Paris, circa 1900 A refined French Belle Époque bronze and glass tabletop vitrine of elegant architectural form, Paris, circa 1900. The case is executed in a distinctive faceted, angled rectangular form with a bowed convex front, the gently curved glass panels softening the geometry while enhancing visibility from multiple viewpoints. Framed in warm-toned bronze with a naturally aged patina, it is fitted with a locking panel door, two glass shelves, and a mirrored bottom that amplifies light and presentation. Both sculptural and functional, it is ideal for jewelry, small bronzes, watches, seals, or other carefully scaled objects. Dimensions: 30 inches high x 18 inches wide x 12 inches deep. Approximate interior dimensions: 17 inches wide x 10 inches deep x 7 inches across. Shelf heights: bottom shelf height is 10 inches; two upper shelf compartments are each approximately 9 inches high. This type of showcase reflects the refined display culture of the Belle Époque, equally suited to a private dressing room, vanity, or high-end retail store display, where transparency, reflection, and elegant presentation were essential. A handsome and versatile cabinet for both residential and boutique settings.
