French Art Deco Cherrywood vitrine by Jules Leleu (1883-1961) from the 1930s and features a top compartment with two sliding glass doors and a glass shelf. A lower compartment has two wood doors with inlay marquetry and bronze fittings and keys. The interior is finished in blond sycamore. The vitrine sits on bronze sabots. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
