Rustic 19th century painted glazed vitrine circa 1890. Good quality cabinet that would work well around the home or for retail display. Comprising of 2 sections, each fitted with 2 double doors and glazed panels. Top section with cornice with doors below which open to reveal 2 fixed shelves either side of central partition, bottom section fitted with a single shelf either side of the partition. Painted in a warm grey with a later contrasting dark grey interior. Raised on 6 turned feet. Due to the piece being fairly lightweight we recommend that the top section should be fixed to a wall to increase stability when loaded. Slight shrinkage to 1 door which is visible showing gaps on the pictures. Please bare in mind that this is a rustic piece of furniture and that the doors will not open and close like something made by a fine cabinet maker. Minor rubbing and fading to paintwork.
