Small Japanese display cabinet from the 1950s–1960s, made of sugi, Japanese cedar. The piece has a compact form with one drawer at the bottom, an open central space and a top surface that works beautifully as a display area. Dimensions: height 30 cm, width 28 cm, depth 31 cm. The wood has a striking grain pattern, with warm tones and dark accentuated lines that strongly highlight the natural character of the Japanese cedar. The side panels have an elegant cut-out shape, while the top shows a particularly decorative play of lines, knots and lively wood structure. Thanks to its small size, this piece is very useful today as a low storage cabinet, display stand or pedestal for ceramics, ikebana, bonsai or a special object. The open space and drawer make it both practical and decorative, with a quiet wabi-sabi presence that fits beautifully in a warm, minimalist or natural interior.
