Large art deco vitrine by Lingel in very nice original condition. The first Hungarian wooden furniture factory was founded in 1864 by Karóly Lingel under the name Lingel Karóly and Sons. Initially they produced wooden goods, mouldings and frames and it was not until the beginning of the 19th century that furniture production began. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
