This is a gorgeous and very luminous gilded carved French vitrine. Done in the Vernis Martin style, the vitrine is painted with a courtship scene and beautifully finished in bright genuine 23kt gold leaf. This is a rare form of vitrine with some of the finest carving and details we have had in a while. Dates to the 1920s era. Measures 72.75 tall x 30 wide x 18.25 deep.
