Desk From Nyc Reclaimed Water Tower Wood, Drawers With Hand Turned Ebony Pulls

This desk utilizes wood salvaged from NYC City water towers. This wood is extremely resilient and is now given a second life. Solid redwood is used for the top and drawer faces. Solid walnut is used for the hand-shaped leg as well as the drawers. Hand-turned solid ebony drawer pulls are uniquely recessed in the drawer faces. Smooth curves on the left leg strikingly contrast the solid and square slab supporting the drawers on the right. A small cubby above the drawers allows for quick storage and access.
