A brass owl door knocker. The back plate is cast in the shape of an owl, with fine lines that detail the eyes, beak, wings and feathers. A traditional Indian Kirtimukha surmounts the knocker, shaped with two swans atop a round bail handle. The back plate beneath is cast in an upturned palmette.
