A tall chest of drawers designed by Tommi Parzinger for Charak Modern. Two piece cabinet with lower portion consisting of three generous sized drawers. Above sits a cabinet with doors that open to reveal three drawers. In typical fashion there is glamorous brass hardware with great detailing. For this restoration we decided to leave the brass with patina and just clean the hardware a bit. The ribbon mahogany is gorgeous and has a glimmering effect. Height of bottom section only is 33", which could be used on its own as a generous sized chest. Some other notable designers from the period include Edward Wormley for Dunbar, Karl Springer, Harvey Probber, Paul Laszlo, and T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings, among others
