Decorate a bedroom or a living room with this elegant antique chest of drawers. Crafted in France, circa 1780, the cabinet stands on tapered and fluted feet over a straight apron decorated with geometric motifs. The commode with side spline columns is dressed with three large drawers across the front; each drawer with recessed panels is decorated with carved swag motifs and dressed with brass pulls and matching escutcheons. Both sides are embellished with carved raised panels. The surface with cut corners is dressed with a faux marble painted top. The Louis XVI style cabinet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich textured and rubbed painted finish in the off-white and grey palette. Original key included.
