A Vintage John Widdicomb Designed by Ralph Widdicombe 3 Drawer Chest W/Tags and Stamp. This is a beautiful serpentine style chest in regency style I believe the wood to be mahogany. There is 6 beautiful French style brass drawer pulls and one small oval key plate, no key included. This has a main ID tag on the top drawer left side, there is also on the back of the chest very top let a 4 number stamp (2090) not sure if this is a date stamp or a ID of the chest. On the very back right about 1/4 the way down is a brass color raised tag with USA on top and a eagle with the words True Grand Rapids Cabinet Making Certified F-6320 Trade Mark. What a great find to find a chest with all the proper identification. Ralph retired in 1941 but did do some freelance work, so this piece was manufactured before that. This is a solid piece of furniture it dose has quite a few scratches and nicks in the finish. It still has the original finish to the piece. The chest is 47' long 34" tall and 21" deep. I also have a glass top that was made for this piece it has scratches to it and a few chips I can include it in the shipping if you desire.
