Viennese antique chest of drawers trumeau in two bodies, solid walnut and veneer walnut with silver inlaid measures: lower part cm: h 95 x w 130 x d 65 upper part cm: h 105 x w 102 x d 35. this important piece of furniture, on the back, bears the writing -1728 - ferenc giulay which certainly represent the date and name of the owner flanked by an unidentifiable brand. the piece of furniture was recovered in austria and was produced in the period of emperor charles v of habsburg, emperor of the holy roman empire; from research carried out the name corresponds to that of one of his army general and the mark could be the eagle of the empire in honor of him.
