Elegant 19th-century German Biedermeier-style chest of drawers crafted with striking burr elm and flamed elm veneers over a solid pine secondary wood construction. This beautifully proportioned piece features three spacious drawers adorned with ornate circular brass ring pulls and decorative brass keyhole escutcheons, showcasing the refined simplicity and craftsmanship characteristic of the Biedermeier period. Resting on short tapered feet, the warm amber tones and dramatic wood grain create a timeless statement suitable for both traditional and transitional interiors. Dimensions: 48.0" w x 23.5" d x 33.5" h / Inches Condition: Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The chest is structurally sound, and all three drawers open and close smoothly. Veneers remain in very good overall condition, displaying a rich patina. There is an old veneer loss/repair to the front right corner between the upper drawers, along with scattered surface scratches, small edge nicks, and minor finish wear on the top consistent with over 100 years of use.
