Late georgian 19th century walnut chest on chest circa 1800. We are pleased to offer this beautiful 2 part walnut chest on chest. Top section with moulded cornice and fitted with 2 over 3 drawers, each cross banded and veneered in an understated burr walnut and ornate brass handles. Bottom section fitted with 3 graduating drawers and raised on splayed feet to the front and a bracket foot to the back. Ideal piece foe multiple rooms around the home, providing plenty of storage without taking up a large footprint. Restorations to woodwork, surface fading to sides. Minor surface marks. Ready for everyday use.
