A fine & rare high quality antique George II burl elm chest of drawers, English, circa 1750. This early chest is made of the finest burl elm, with a quartered top and having a stepped edge moulding, below are two short & three long drawers, The drawers are edge-banded & have panels of swirled burl elm, the drawers with brass lock escutcheons & bail handles, the chest is raised on tall shaped bracket feet. The drawers are rather deep therefore providing plenty of storage, they are clean & free from aroma and ready to store clothing, bedding or?
