This is a painted bombe chest of drawers (commode, dresser), of Venetian style from the early 20th-century. It is made of solid carved walnut. The serpentine top is over a narrow frieze fitted with two small drawers which is over two larger drawers with delicately shaped brass handles. It is raised on cabriole legs. Parts are decorated with a spatula effect of jade color. This item of furniture is handmade and unique.
