An antique provincial style cherry wood chest of drawers made by cabinet maker Samuel Harper (1818-1904) of Cooperstown, Otsego County, New York. Four hand dovetailed drawers open with decorative carved wood half-moon pull handles. The serpentine skirt with rectangular pilasters frames paneled sides. Signed by the cabinet maker in the back.
