Antique Trentino Drop-Leaf Chest Veneered in walnut, decorated with geometric maple and cherry trim. The front of this 18th-century drop-leaf chest of drawers features three large drawers, surmounted by a drop-leaf and two rows of slanted drawers. It rests on bracket feet. from a private collection in Milan, it is in good condition and has been perfectly restored by our workshop with a shellac and wax finish. During the restoration, it emerged that this piece was constructed without nails; all joints are tongue-and-groove, and the drawer bottoms are secured with wooden dowels.
