This rare two-drawer commode was crafted in Southern Germany around 1790–1810, at the transition from late Classicism to early Biedermeier. The elegant piece is veneered in beautifully book-matched walnut on all sides, displaying a harmonious grain pattern across the front, sides, and top. It features two drawers with period locks that have been carefully repaired and are in working order, complemented by later-added keys.
