Hand carved Spanish Revival highboy pine chest finished in umber tones with gilded accents and rose madder highlights. Finely detailed, with an arched pediment, candlestick finial and ball & claw feet in the Chippendale manner, this two piece chest is unsigned but crafted in Mexico by an artisanal cabinet maker, such as Arte de Mexico in the 1960s. Lower piece is 32" high, upper piece 48" high.
