A curved, lacquered, and painted chest of drawers from the first half of the 18th century. Sicily. This piece is distinguished by its sinuous lines and rich decoration. Its structural profile is curved, both laterally and at the front, and it rests on arched cabriolet legs. The body of the piece is entirely lacquered in dark green and features gilded scrolls on both the front and sides depicting painted gallant and pastoral scenes. The figures wear typical 18th-century clothing. The chest's top is also made of stained marbled wood and follows the curved lines of the entire piece.
