Grave chest of drawers in violet wood veneer opening with four drawers in three rows. Richly decorated with chased rocaille bronzes, such as falls, sabots, pull handles, key escutcheons and apron. It is topped with a Flanders red marble top. Stamped by Jean-François Lapie, received as master on December 17, 1763, and stamped with the "poinçon de jurande". JME Louis XV period. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
