Danish mid 19th century flame mahogany chest of drawers circa 1850. Stunning mid 19th century 4 drawer commode from denmark. Rectangular top with sloped moulded edge. Below the top the chest is fitted with 4 graduating drawers, the top and bottom drawers with shaped fronts. All veneered in matched flame mahogany. Drawers open on the key which is typical with scandinavian furniture. Plain mahogany to each side. Raised on 2 carved paw splayed feet to the front and block feet to the rear. Recently re-polished in our workshop. Expected minor surface marks to woodwork. Evidence of minor woodworm to backboards, which is has been treated and inactive.
