This classic chest of drawers is a stunning example of early 19th century handmade American furniture making. Featuring seven drawers total (four over three), richly colored in cherry with striped tiger maple drawer fronts and brass pulls, the hand-cut dovetail construction and beautiful vintage detailing, including original locks (no key) stand out. The brass pulls show signs of having had a full and rich life and have not been replaced as we feel it adds to the authentic charm of the piece. Four small feet and a lovely rope style trim grace the bottom. A variety of nicely sized drawers offer plenty of storage space and look great while doing it. Built to last, it should provide graceful functionality for another 100 years!
