A Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted inlaid burl walnut and mahogany commode, early 20th century, of bombe and serpentine form, surmounted by a marble top, which is removeable. Fitted with three drawers, great storage, bottom drawer is a little askew, but almost unnoticeable. Cabriole legs. Elegant, stunning ormolu details as the side details are from top to bottom & the entire bottom edge profile is beaded with brass. Wonderful storage for linens, etc. So, so beautiful & yet practicle.
