Unusual Queen Anne inspired chest of drawers fitted with a mirror, circa 1910. Quite possibly made by Epstein, this good quality chest is very strongly influenced by the Queen Anne style of furniture. Top surface with bookmark walnut veneer, feather stringing and cross-banded. Rounded moulded corners to the front edges. Fitted with four drawers, and the top drawer unusually fitted with an adjustable mirror, two lidded compartments and further open compartments. Standing on bracket feet and a shaped lower frieze. Good colour and patina. Minor losses to woodwork on the top surface and bottom drawer. Recently restored in our workshop and hand polished.
