This gorgeous 1910's Chest of drawers, with wonderful Edwardian period features that would excentuate the home bedroom or living room setting. Displaying a rich walnut patination to the rectangular chest top, that is finished with a carved lower lip. The chest front has a beautiful arrangement of two short over three large graduating drawers, with carving to the front of every drawer. Each drawer has the original striking figured matching brass drop handles to finish. The drawers have striking key holes, unfortunately there is no key present, but this does not effect the functionality of the item at all. The chest has carved side pillars that highlight the timeless Edwardian craftsmanship finish. Standing proudly on a lower solid raised base. This is a handsome Edwardian Chest of Drawers, that would compliment the home setting in a plethora of rooms. Overall this chest of drawers is in great antique condition, with signs of use and wear as to be expected from an item of this age (see photographs). There are historical wood cracks to the chest top, side, and lower base, consistent with this historical age (see photographs). There is a slight chip out of the right corner of the chest (see photograph).
