This is an expertly crafted kingwood and mahogany and some of the finest jewelry quality cast bronze ormolu ever seen. The combination of the elaborate and dazzling figured marble top and darker two-tone case is quite striking. This piece most likely was made by Sormani but isn't labeled. The piece dates to the 1900-1910 era and is in good condition with minimal signs of age and use beyond patina and normal age-appropriate wear. Measures 50.25 wide x 23 deep x 34.5 tall.
