An 18th century Italian Louis XV period walnut commode with elegant serpentine front. Made of solid walnut with fine hand-carved detailing framing the drawer pulls and an artfully scalloped lower apron. Two dovetailed drawers with decorative cast bronze ormolu hardware. Rests on classic cabriole legs. Waxed patina. Restoration on front top right drawer and top right corner. Good craftsmanship and nice proportions. Circa 1740-1760.
