Beautiful deep red Japanese chest of drawers from the Meiji period. The chest features eight large drawers with metal handles. The sides also have handles for transporting the chest, and the corners have metal reinforcements. The chest and the metal have a unique weathered appearance, with signs of use that tell a story. One of the drawers has a missing piece, and another has a small cavity. The lockplates are nicely finished, without key. Dimensions: height 91 cm, width 89 cm, depth 30 cm.
